I had a truly wonderful stay at Jetwing Colombo Seven in Sri Lanka’s captivating city of Colombo! I was particularly impressed with the chains ethos of sustainability: a feature that the hotel employs throughout in its practices. The staff here are absolutely fantastic - Chathurika and Samantha on the reception desk made sure my stay went smoothly, and in general, everyone working at Jetwing Colombo Seven are committed to making their guest’s time here a positive experience. My room was gorgeously outfitted in textural wooden tones, with a huge king size bed, and beautiful bathroom. A host of amenities, including free water, tea and coffee, and a well stocked minibar, were also included. The breakfast, served on the ground floor in an expansive light filled dining room, was delicious, with a host of options, both continental and Asian. The highlight of Jetwing Colombo Seven, though, is undoubtedly its panoramic rooftop space - the views out over Colombo from up here are spectacular and I had a mesmerising final evening in the infinity pool, sipping my handcrafted arrack based cocktail, and enjoying the glittering surrounds.

Nice hotel for a 1 night stay. The room was clean, good facilities available in the room, comfortable bed. We visited the rooftop bar and restaurant which was nice although we were surprised at the service fee and taxes added onto the bill. It ended up being 30% more expensive than expected. However, the food was nice and the views over the city are amazing. The rooftop pool was nice and it was good to have access to the shower once we'd checked out. There is not much space up there but it was adequate for what we needed. I was kindly given soy milk for the room to make a cup of tea which was much appreciated. We also appreciated the late check out due to a later flight and the storage of our luggage. Location wise - there were some nice cafe's and shops within walking distance and a large park within a 20-25 minute walk. Galle Face Beach was a short tuk tuk ride away along with One Galle Face Mall.

For a vegetarian the dinner menu is limited if you stay more than 4 nights, but otherwise fine and the staff are attentive. The rooftop pool and bar area is a bonus and one of the reasons to go back. The gym is pretty good and attended. I also like the location - whilst lots of Colombo's best hotels are located on or near Galle Face, this hotel is in the best residential area in Colombo, walking distance from Colombo Town Hall, Viharamahadevi Park, Nelum Pokuna Theatre, and the restaurants of Park Street Mews.

Breakfast was just 15 euros(added at the time of booking) for all three of us but we were blown asway. Great number of verities including Sri lankan traditional to Western. In smaller portions so you can try most of them. Presentation was great too. Their roof top and the roof top bar were great too. A nice view of Colombo downtown. Bar offered a variety of cocktails with great service. The entire hotel strives to be sustainable-- we saw very few plastics usages. Also staff were great too.

Our original hotel cancelled our room 24 hours before we were due to stay, so we booked a room here at short notice, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. The hotel itself was very clean and the staff were lovely. I dont know if we got a reduced price for booking same day, but it felt like very good value for money for how nice the hotel was. They have a roof top bar and infinity pool where we watched the sunset over colombo. A very cool experience. The room was very big, facilities excellent, and over all it was a fantastic place to stay
